How can you support LLL Collective?
Have we supported you or someone you love? Would you like to give something back to our organisation? Maybe you just want to support our mission, because you understand how important it is that all families have access to equitable breastfeeding support.
Why do we need your support?
LLL Collective is a brand new charity, formed in January 2025, for breastfeeding and chestfeeding support and we need your help, so we can do what we do best: support families to breastfeed. We have no government or NHS funding and run our services for families from your donations.
Our support will always be free for families to access, but it does cost money to provide.
What do we use donations for?
We are entirely volunteer led so you know your donations will go straight to support those who need it. We want you to be confident we are spending your donations thoughtfully – below we share more details about exactly where your money would go.
- Running meetings: your donations pay for venue hire, refreshments and insurance, meaning meetings are always free for families to access.
- Training new Leaders (breastfeeding counsellors): In order to ensure volunteering is accessible for all, our training is free to access. Donating means we can provide resources and training for free.
- Keeping Leaders up to date: We believe there should be no cost barrier to volunteering. In order to achieve this we need donations to pay for update training for our Leaders, so you can be confident we will always give you accurate, evidence based, up to date information.
- Creating, printing and providing resources to families: Videos, articles, photos and books all help educate families and health professionals about breastfeeding and are vital to our mission.
- Keeping our website and support platforms running: Our website has been developed and is maintained by volunteers, however there are costs involved web hosting and domain name.
Different ways you can you support us
Become a supporter: for £2.50 a month, or £30 a year, you can become an official supporter. To say thank you, you’ll be sent a badge in the post and recieve a quarterly online newsletter. You can read more about this here
Shop and donate for free: Through our Give as you Live scheme, you can shop and donate to us, with no extra cost to you! Get started here
A one off donation: We’re always so grateful for any donation you can give, and promise we will put it to good use, supporting families to breastfeed.
Buy books from our bookshop: At no extra cost to you, buying books via our shop will give us a percentage of your purchase. You can also have a browse of the books we recommend!
