Becoming a Leader

Breastfeeding support at the Glasgow Science Centre

Would you like to be a LLL Leader?

Are you interested in offering mother-to-mother and peer-to-peer breastfeeding support?

You can become a Leader (volunteer breastfeeding counsellor) with La Leche League International through us, LLL Collective. Leaders are mothers and parents who have nursed their own babies for at least a year and who want to support others on their journeys.

Leaders run LLL group meetings and offer 1-2-1 support via phone, email, video call and social media.

Next Steps

If you are interested in learning more, the next step is reading about Applying for Leadership. We also have more on exactly what our accreditation programme looks like. After checking that out, please email Clare if you’re still interested in exploring more.

If it’s not for you, that’s ok! We can use plenty of help with charity management and welcome discussions with people who would like to donate their time helping us run our organisation. If that sounds more like you, please email Melissa and we can discuss more!
